Favorite Fishing Lure, what is yours?

I have a favorite crankbait, that would qualify as my overall favorite lure and it's not even close.

It is the Storm Rattlin' Flat Wart. It is blue on top, with a silver body and red on the bottom. There is no other lure like it on the planet. When no one else is catching anything, the Flat Wart ALWAYS comes through.

A few people can attest to the greatness of this crankbait.

Unfortunately, they don't make them anymore. I'd love to buy the patent on this lure, even if it was just for my own use.

I just started thinking about it and ended up buying several of them on ebay just now. Two of them were 18 dollars each, a couple for 15, and I got several for about 12 with shipping.

Sadly, they didn't have any available in the color I wanted, but these are better than nothing. It was hard to spend that much on a dang crankbait, but nevertheless, I did...

For Bass, give me a 10 inch plastic power worm any day of the week. Of course, I'm not exactly your resident bass fishing expert these days either...

What's your favorite bait?

yeah its hard to beat that watermelon red brushhog. Mine has to be the pearl white bass assasin. Definitely my confidence bait.

Would definitely have to be Rapala Countdowns or their suspending jerk baits in silver. I'm also with Cooper on the Fat-A wiggle warts but my color of choice is crawfish. Those things are like fish cocaine at times.

Shortbus..thanks for the invite!

I fish in the Chesapeake Bay for the most part and I use a Shad colored Storm lure for Redfish, Sting Silver for trout and when all else fails a white bucktail with a fresh piece of strip bait.

I also bass fish and nothing beats a devil's horse on still morning!! BLAM!!!

Hard to go wrong with brush hogs (I like black and red). Also, I love to throw brown spinnerbaits (little bit harder to find these, maybe thats why I seem to do well with them?)

My go to lure though is a strike king tube, green with flourescent skirt.
