Nice, very nice. Do you generally fish for flounder by jigging or trolling?

nice catch. Flounder are some crazy looking fish. How the heck do you clean those things?

Filleting those things must be a pain in the butt. I say throw em in a jar and pickle em like pike....

Well they are a bottom feeder, so if the tide is moving good we just drift along structure bridges or sandy bottoms.

If it's a slack tide...we will troll the pilings along a bridge or rock pile. They are fun to catch, but can be tricky...we use large saltwater minnows and they will actually suck a minnow in and spit it out ...scaling the minnow before eating it! Their teeth are very sharp.

Many times you will have a nice hit only to reel in a scaled minnow!!

But they are easy to clean. 4 filets per fish..some folks skin them, but I do not.
