New Virginia state record STRIPER!!!

This fella catch the Virginia State record STRIPER last week on a MANN'S STRETCH 30 red and white lure just outside of the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay during ocean season.

They had been trolling and saw some birds working about a mile up...the stepped up their troll to make some time and BLAM!!!

73 LBS....I saw the fish two day later on display at the boat show and he was hanging out of both ends of the cooler....A REAL MONTER!!

Holy crap that is a freaking monster Striper!

I'd love to catch one a quarter that size!

I can't imagine how long that must've taken to reel that big sucker in! Surprised that old dude is still standing!
