What did that man say at the very end. The kid said "he's had a bad day" and I think the guy said "its about to get worse". So maybe the killed him afterall.

Snakes

How awesome is that? I have two small rattles at my house. The first one was a small prairie rattler that I caught while building fence at Cheyenne valley. The other I found dead on a location we were swabbing at. The one in the picture, I believe is a diamondback. They are larger and have a larger rattle ( can't wait to catch one of them). The neat thing to look at is the shape of their head. You can tell that it is poisonous because of the shape of it's head. A smaller v shape instead of a long flat shape. I read this somewhere. Still, think about this, rattlesnakes are found in the desert! Sand is in the desert and on the beach, Why not have beach Rattlers? LOL

Drake, I know you caught that rattle snake with your bare hands but I'd like to remind you that you have a soon to be 5 year old daughter and her brother will be arriving in this world even before that. So consider that before you do that again.

I was fishing at a farm pond years ago that contained a very healthy catfish and bass population. The fish and ducks were fed daily at near the same time. When you would feed the fish, the water would boil from the feeding frenzy. This particular day I was walking the shoreline and noticed about a 5' bull snake take out into the water. I couldn't contain the urge to throw rocks, so there I was pelting away at this snake in the water as it moved across the pond. About halfway across, the fish (not sure if they were bass or catfish) started attacking the snake. There were probably 20-25 going after that thing like pirahna's. A minute or so later, no signs of the snake. I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. I had no idea fish would go after a snake like that.

plastic worm

a plastic worm is a prime example of a snake! I have seen fish attack a small water snake the same way that you are talking about. It was just one fish ,(a large mouth bass) attack and eat a small snake. I have never heard of such a large snake being eaten. You would be amazed at what a fish can swallow. At Lake Fort Gibson we fish for Mississippi Whites with whole shad, some times 3 or 4 at a time and catch small cats weighing 3-5 pounds. I never would of guested that they would feed on such big bait.

That is pretty amazing birdman. I know fish can swallow large bait but you would figure that that wasn't the first time the snakes went after the fish. Surely they weren't just that hungry.
