| Crappie still HOT on Cedar Creek I have spoken to lots of crappie fisherman lately that claims the crappie are not biting here on CC. So, either I am just lucky or the bite has been much better this summer than last. Or maybe I have just gotten wiser. This makes the 4th trip in a row that we brought home 40 plus keepers. Normally this time of year is very difficult fishing for crappie here on CC. Saturdays trip was no exception to the good bite though. Most all the crappie was caught on jigs. The magic depth is @# and the bite has been pretty light. If your using more than 10lb test line I doubt you will ever feel the bite. I have an opening on Sunday of next weekend if anyone wants to go catch some fish. Here are a few pictures of recent trips. Thanks taylor |
