Last week I took the family to the lake for a couple of days. Late into day 2 we had 6 whitetail wander through. They were unaffected by the trucks and trailers moving through. Later that evening they came within 30 feet of our campfire where we roasted marshmallows sipped coffee and just watched them eat grass. Then a couple of the bambi's started to frolic. Loll you should have seen my 2-year-old son as he watched these 2 young deer play "tag". ;-) Who says critters don't have personality.

I've also noticed that the deer are less on edge. It's nice to see them while relaxing at the lake, it can make for some nice entertainment. My wife and daughter enjoy driving the dirt roads where i live, during the winter time because all the deer are out feeding. The biggest problem we seem to have is deciding who gets the binocs first, guess my cheep a__ should buy another pair.
