Pistol hunting?

Anyone ever done this. I don't know anyone who has and just interested.

Yes I have. .357 and .44 mag. Hog hunting and very effective. I am seriously thinking about trying deer with it.

I use my S&W 41mag for hunting and as a backup. I really have become to rely on it in alot of hunting instances when an animal has gotten into some thick areas. I have used mine in the past for Elk,Deer,Bear, and Mountain Lion. A very reliable tool to ranges up to 100yds. Takes lots of practice to become a decent shot with a revolver. I enjoy hunting with mine as much as any other gun or bow.

i broke my right hand about 10 years ago not wanting to give up deer hunting that year i borrowed my brothers 357 and opening morning i killed a 7 point 1 shot dropped at 30 yards my brother gave me that handgun a few years later . a freind told me he could hit the target at a 100 yards with his i thought he was lying so i went to the range and gave it a try no joke i could hold a tight pattern with mine it was a model 65 smith and wesson

I was carrying my 1911 45ACP while deer hunting, and I thought if one gets close enough I would use it, but I could not hit a barn at 100 yds. with that thing.
