| Administrator | Big Cat Here is a photo of a cougar killed SW of Jet, Oklahoma . The guy who shot it is 6 foot tall and weighs about 220 lbs. He was in a deer stand and saw the cat pass him downwind. He then saw it pass him upwind. When the cat passed him again (closer this time) downwind, he knew that it was hunting him. So, boom. After viewing this, do you still feel safe in the woods? big cat.jpg |

| Administrator | ok cat Just thought you guys should know that there really are cats that big in Oklahoma!!! At the hunting expo in OKC. last year they had a servay,( if you have spotted a mountain in O klahoma please post the location on the above map with one of the tacks provided). The map was out of room, due to all of the tacks. A large number of the tacks were locted in the downtown OKC area. I have spent my fair share of time,(all of it if you ask my wife) in the woods hunting in and around Oklahoma and have seen and shot some big cats, one weighing almost 40 lbs. All of wich had short tails and spots. I have some reaaly good hunting stories, but not about mountain lions. Until I see one in Oklahoma im not marking the map. Maybee all of those okc idiots were regarding the big cats at the OKC ZOO. Although I don't think thats what the game wardens had in mind. |
