Curious how you keep people honest in a contest like this other than the polygraph test.

Do you have it where they have to put a certain playing card in the mouth of the animal before it stiffens up and close their mouth on it?

My brother has entered a couple of these and I'm pretty sure I remember him saying that is what they had to do.

Well we hope that everyone that hunts this tournments will be honest and respect the other contestants and not cheat. Of course thats not always the case. We've hunted these tournments for a while and we have seen anything from roadkill to frozen animal try to pass off. Although we are not CSI, we can "detect" some cheating tactics. We do have a polygraph test that will be given to anyone winning money. It has proven to be effective and have even seen some teams get disqualified for cheating. All in all, the polygraph test is our main cheater buster. I've never heard of the playing card technique, but it sounds interesting. We may look into doing something like that for our next tournment. Thanks for your post, hope you can come to our tourney. pass on the word!

I'd love to participate but I'm an Okie.

Thanks for the reply though. I guess the polygraph would ultimately be a pretty fantastic deterrent.
