There's talk of tags being released here in Colorado due to the increase in Mtn lion predation around the more populated, metro areas of the state. Anyone know what the prevailing method for tracking/luring/hunting mtn lions is?

find sign and use a predator call like you would hunting a bobcat or coyote.

If they allow digital calls, and decoys, that would be your best-safest bet I'd guess.

Set up and use the remote to control the digital call and just wait for the cat to come in.

No way in hell you'd get me to call a mtn lion in. I know when problem cats are hunted in my area, the DOW or whomever is contracted uses dogs to track and tree. A good buddy of mine would let you come shoot some problem cats off his back porch if you would like. The DOW already gave him the go ahead after several VERY VERY UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL MEETINGS.
