Most effective predator call?

What sound do you find most productive in your bag of calling tricks? Is it a jackrabbit / cottontail distress, woodpecker distress, pup yell / distress, coyote howl, coyote greeting / distress call?

My personal success is generally with a jack / cottontail distress call..

The most commonly effective is the distress, but you never know what it's going to take. I have had coyotes come running to a distress, and I have seen them stroll by like they didn't even hear it. I like steak but I wouldn't want to eat it every day. Some times different call can be just or even more effective. A woodpecker distress call seems to work on bobcats a majority of the time for me. My favorite call is the talley hoe. It is a hand held mouth call with interchangeable reeds, so that you can decide what pitch is right for you.

Hey Drake,

who makes that Talley Hoe call?? It would definitely be benneficial to have a multiple purpose call or additional reed's to vary pitch..

I'm not sure who makes the talley ho but you can find them at most outdoor stores, including bass pro and cabellas.
