Now that the Turkey season is underway we need some pictures of your new trophy. I hope to have one of my own on soon.

My little brother went last weekend in Kansas for the youth opener and shot 2. He said they were pretty nice birds.

I went this morning but decided not to shoot a small jake. He had about a three inch beard and was strutting his stuff about ten yards in front of me. I let him walk hoping a long beard would come but saw nothing else. Maybe next weekend will be better.

Does Oklahoma allow two tags or one per hunter?

I believe it is up to 3 in some counties and two in some others.

I will do a great effort for this season to hunt for perfect turkeys so that I would be more satisfied for this hunting season. I'm looking forward to have an exciting activity for the upcoming season.

Any of you guys hunt Tennessee. I'm only in my second season of turkey hunting so I still have plenty to learn. I'm from Louisiana and hunt here, but this spring we're going to make a hunting trip around Franklin Tn. My brother in law has around 90 acres that he uses to train his bird dogs but doesn't hunt it and he told me there are plenty turkeys on it. Being from Louisiana and hunting FLAT land what do I need to do different in the hills ?

I have never hunted in Tennessee but I'm pretty sure if you can hunt Turkey in LA you can hunt them in KY. If they are there, and you can call 'em in, you should be good to go!
