Report 4-6-08 w/pics

Went back out to the canal here in Nebraska for some walleye and sauger fishing. I had my limit of 16-17" saugers by 9am and ended up catching around 40 or so all together. I took my friend Chad with me and he only ended up catching 1 sauger. That 1 fish made my 4 look like GUPPIES! Ended up being a 22", 3# 14oz Master Angler. That thing was a SOW! We will probaby never see another sauger that big again in our lifetime.

Here is the MA sauger and my buddy Chad!

Here is my limit.

Nice fish eye4!!! That is one hell of a sauger. What are MA size requirements? What is water temp up to now? We're still a bit cold here with most water in the 44-46° range. Every time we get a couple nice days to warm the water it freaking snows ...

MA is either 21"(C&R) or 3#'s in Nebraska. Water temps are in the mid to uper 40's where these were caught. I feel your pain on the weather cause it's snowing at my house right now! Nebraska, April 7th, and it's snowing!!!!!!!!!!!
