| Outfishing your partner? Was wondering how often it happens where you are fishing in your boat with a guest - OR- You are a guest in someone else boat and usually one or the other outfishes his partner three fish to one or some other lopsided ratio? Even though your running the same baits live or artificial, at the same depths equivalent rod reels and line etc. etc. I have a few friends that I take out, mostly trolling for walleye and I always, well not always, but it feels that way, get my tail kicked even though quite often the person with me is using my rods, boards etc. I'll even try running the same baits at the same depths and my hands never touch gasoline or any other "scare the fish away type stuff". Now please take note that since I am fortunate enough to have a nice boat I like taking others with me ... but even though I enjoy their company, I find myself getting frustrated, not at their good luck, but rather my consistent poor luck and lack of understanding what the heck I'm doing wrong? BOTTOM LINE... Is there such a thing as (BAD LUCK) or do you sometimes experience the same thing and it leaves you wondering.... What do a heck is going' on? PS. I try not to let the other person(s) see my frustrations , as not to ruin their fun. I'm posting this anonymously because I am a little embarrassed to even bring it up. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to comment on this phenomenon! Thanks, Joshua |
