| Caution when selling a boat online Recently I advertised my boat on this site and on the WC site and I must warn all you guys to be very careful when selling your boat online. So far I have had 3 different fraud attempts concerning the selling of my boat at a very fair price. One was definetley foreign in nature he had problems with the english in his email. All the offers asked ME to send them money or return extra funds they would be including in the asking price....what a bunch of BS!!! Only use an escrow service when you are selling your rig it's the safest or another may be direct wire deposits. Cashiers checks are not absolutely safe as they can be counterfit and payment can be stopped on them just like any other check...I know all this as I have been in the business of computer security for many years.....BE CAREFUL!!
