Nelli's first birds

Went out a couple of weekends ago and got the pup her first ducks. Very proud moment, just wish I could kill some more!

Not to worry Nick, the birds are just starting to move down. I've been out several times and done fairly well on public reservoirs. I've noticed in the past two weeks a lot more ducks are in the area. Even bagged a couple red heads this year.

One greenhead and one redhead is what we shot as well as a couple buffleheads. Sure wish I could get out more, but you know how it goes this year with the new little one.

He is a good baby. No complaints other than lack of time out in the field.
