I've been hunting geese here in Colorado pretty hard for the last month or so, making it out about twice a week. The birds have finally moved in the last couple of weeks and hunting has been off the hook. One of our pits has had at least 75 birds shot out of it in the last 2.5 weeks. I wasn't in on all these shoots, but we've seen equal success in other fields. I'll post pictures from New Years Day when I get them off my camera. We shot 17 in a damn alfalfa field on a blue bird day. Probably helped we set 12 dozen fully flocked full body and 12 dozen shells though. Birds are finishing and being taken in a feet down fashion, only yards above our heads.
