I have been thinking about building a small hunting cabin and could use ideas and suggestions for what you have seen work well (and what has not worked too well) inside and outside cabins you may have visited or have of your own. I am thinking about something maybe 24'x36' with a bathroom, two bunk rooms, and an open kitchen/den/bar area with a pot-bellied stove in the middle, small mud room/area, etc. Definitely want a "classic" rustic look and feel inside and out and have thought about cedar/cypress exterior with a tin roof, front and rear porches, something like pictures from the old Beaver Dam clubhouse or similar "old school" clubs. Nothing fancy but something I can take the family, clients, and friends for a duck hunt or just a get-away for a few days.

Yeah, I know I am dreaming, but maybe one day it will happen. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
