Alligator Hunting
Welcome! You’re About to Embark on the Adventure of a Lifetime!
Let’s go Alligator hunting in Florida! When you embark on your adventure with us, the entire family can get in on some Florida fun. We are located sixty miles southeast of Orlando, Florida, and just forty miles south of the Kennedy Space Center. If your family are beach lovers, we are just a stone’s throw away from some of Florida’s most majestic beaches. During your Florida guided alligator hunt, you’ll get the chance to experience some of Florida’s rich wildlife and its best as you travel through lush marshlands by night, gliding silently in just inches of water, on an airboat (think CSI: Miami). Your safety is our priority:
All of our guides are CPR certified and carry cell phones and a well-stocked first-aid kit in case of emergencies. They also bring along extra equipment and are trained to expect – and handle – the unexpected.
A variety of alligator hunts are available:
Sport hunts are conducted year-round on private property. The gators are about 7 to 7 ½ feet in length and these hunts may be done during daylight hours (using rifles) or at night with airboats (using bows, crossbows, or harpoons). These hunts are usually one-day excursions, but occasionally a second day is required if weather dictates. This is not a draw-type hunt; we issues tags.
Cost: $1,850. (Additional gators can be taken for $450 each).
Public hunts take place from August 15 to October 31. We will issue approximately 4,500 trapper licenses on a first-come, first-served basis. These go fast! In 2006 and 2007, we were sold out in four hours! Each trapper is permitted to have helpers, called agents, and we will list you as an agent for a selected trapper. Your agent/license fee is included in your package price.
Public hunts are a great option for those who can hunt during the ten-week season, and are less expensive than the Private Trophy Hunts.
Cost: One hunter, both gators: $2,500. Two hunters, one gator each: $1,500 per hunter. (Note that at least one hunter must be hunting a Trophy-class gator, which would incur Trophy fees. These fees are the same as in the Private Trophy Hunts).
If you already have your own tags, call us for prices. All fees must be paid in advance for these hunts. If we receive too many requests to accommodate everyone, you will receive a full refund.
