Established in 1973, by a group of Florida hunters, S~C~H~C* offers 1,500 acres of the most densely populated whitetail herd in the low
country.With the longest whitetail season in the nation, quality deer and land management, a family atmosphere, and affordable cost,
S~C~H~C* provides an enjoyable and productive hunting experience for beginners and seasoned hunters alike.

Our private Lodge is located in Estill, South Carolina, 45 minutes northwest of I-95 (exit 5,
Hardeeville) off Highway 321, with our 1,500 acres situated in Jasper and Hampton
counties. South Carolina is noted for its early season, as well as the first rut in the
southeast. The season opens on August 15, affording hunters the opportunity of
harvesting a velvet buck. With pre-rut activity and Doe Season beginning September 15,
the rut begins as early as October 1 and runs as late as December. The season ends
January 1, making it the longest Whitetail Deer season in the nation.
