These big game animals are hunted in mountainous country still rich in the history and romance of the Old West. We hunt an area in the Snake River Range, high country of the Targhee National Forest, which borders the Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole and the Grand Canyon of the Snake River. It is a vast wilderness region, bestowing upon the hunter a special brand of enjoyment that will not be forgotten.The hunting itself is done in the remaining wilderness regions, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. All-Wyoming guides, the best food and camping equipment, and the finest saddle horses give our hunters the state’s best opportunity for bagging a trophy. Perhaps best of all is the fact that Double N Outfitters will accept only a limited number of hunters; this helps to maintain our high record of success.
We offer summer pack trips into our tent camp. This is a beautiful, scenic seven-mile horseback ride into camp. From camp there are a lot of options of things to do for the day. The creek that runs just across the meadow from camp is full of cutthroat trout, so fishing is always a great choice. The mountainous terrain and abundant wildlife make these trips perfect for photography.
