Hoback Peak Outfitters is a family owned business that prides itself on making your trip to Wyoming an enjoyable one. If you’re looking to hunt Elk, Mule Deer, Moose, Big Horn Sheep, Black Bear or Mountain Lion, we have a hunt that can accommodate you. If hunting is not what you're looking for, come experience the backcountry on a peaceful pack trip, where we’ll ride in on horses and camp, fish, and enjoy the beauty of Wyoming’s mountain lakes, streams and peaks. For those of you looking to become part of the outfitting industry, we offer a guide school that will teach you everything you need to know to get you started in the career of your dreams.
Our Elk hunting areas are area 84 and 86 south of Jackson Hole. These hunts are 7 day, horseback hunts from our comfortable wall tent camp located on East Bondurant Creek, only an hour ride into the National Forest. We host a maximum of six hunters in camp at one time and provide one guide for each pair of hunters. Private guides are available upon request. Our Elk population has been increasing over the last few years, without predation problems from wolves and grizzly bears; we are seeing a larger number of calves surviving every year.
