Misty Oaks Ranch offers 1,000 acres in Guadalupe County of heavily wooded, rolling terrain with a large population of quality whitetail deer. The ranch is located approximately 10 miles southeast of Seguin, Texas.
Since 1982, the ranch has been under game-proof fence and has had an effective deer management program in place since that time. This has been an on-going program with biologists from Texas Parks and Wildlife to manage the habitats by selected grazing, the elimination of inferior animals, and by a supplemental feeding program of high protein pellets. This program has been highly successful and now a good population of quality deer has been accomplished. For the last five years we have had a 100% success rate in which every hunter has had an opportunity to make a kill.
