Our hunts, for the most part, are tough, rigorous adventures in some of the most awesome, rugged landscape in North America. We hunt the same country made famous by Theodore Roosevelt, Jack O'Connor, Col. Townsend Whelen, Warren Page and other hunting greats. Our hunts are true, old-fashioned, western, mountain, pac k train, horseback adventures.
You can expect to eat a hearty breakfast each day and to leave camp an hour before daylight, to return to camp in late morning, and to hunt again in late afternoon. We'll return to camp in the dark. We do lots of walking and some days we don't use horses at all, especially the morning of our first day's hunt in order to properly rest the horses. Some days we stay out all day. Supper is usually late. If you score early, you may be able to leave early, depending on a number of factors, b ut you can still go out every day. Your hunt doesn't have to end after an early kill. Non-hunting wives are especially welcome if they like the out-of-doors.
