We offer quality and personalized hunts in some of the best trophy elk and mule deer country in Wyoming. With Salt River Range Outfitters you’ll experience incredible hunting along with Wyoming’s amazing beauty.
We are located in beautiful Star Valley, Wyoming, which is 60 miles from Grand Teton National Park and 100 miles from Yellowstone. Our valley is also home to the legendary bucks Popeye and Goliath.
Area of Operation:
Our hunting areas are within Bridger Teton National Forest. They include most of the Salt River Range Drainage and Lower Greys River Drainage, where the Alpine Elk Feed Ground is located. Over a 1,000 head of Elk winter on this feed ground. In addition to these fine trophy areas we also hunt BLM Land to the south of Star Valley. This is where many of our trophy mule deer migrate to for the winter and where antelope hunting takes place.
