Buck Ridge Plantation enjoys one of the longest whitetail deer seasons in the country, running from August 15 to January 1. This allows you the option of harvesting a buck in velvet.
Throughout the season you can use the weapon of choice: rifle, bow, crossbow, pistol, shotgun or muzzleloader; there is no set season for types of weapons.
The hunting is both challenging and rewarding, supported by guides who are savvy in the habits of local game. A kennel of top pointers and spaniels is eager to join the hunt.
More than shooting sports, Buck Ridge Plantation is a superb getaway and special event destination for small groups or large gatherings seeking a destination exclusive to their event.
