Deerfield Plantation is located in the heart of South Carolina's Lowcountry "Deerbelt" and is a working plantation with corn, soybeans, peas, wheat, oats, rye and coastal Bermuda fields. We offer three hundred permanent deer stands in two main hunting areas. In our regular hunting area, (over 7,000 acres), all bucks must have a minimum of four points. The points must be at least one inch long. In our trophy management area, (over 3,000 acres), any buck harvested must have 8 points and a 15 inch spread. The trophy area is hunted only in the afternoons. Beginning September 15th, you may harvest a buck or doe in our regular hunting area.
