Jay Angel has been writing about the outdoors since 1997 when he was hired by the Daily Chronicle in DeKalb, IL to write their outdoors column. Since then he has been published in many outdoors related magazines such as Fur-Fish-Game, MidWest Outdoors, Great Lakes Fishing and Hunting News, Adventure Sports Outdoors, Musky Hunter as well as a few more.
Jay began fishing with his father when he was very young. Many of his earliest memories center around his summer trips with his Dad to Northern Wisconsin.
Being a fishing guide was just a natural progression of my fishing lifestyle, exclaims Angel.
