If you are planning a big game Hunt in the hills or prairies of South Dakota, Wyoming, or Montana, an upland game bird hunt would be a great addition to your hunting adventure. In addition to our upland game hunts we also offer big game hunts in the form of Spring Turkey, Muzzleloader deer, and Late September combination Archery deer/antelope hunts. These hunts are on a limited basis only.
Each year, South Dakota's pheasant season traditionally opens the third Saturday in October, but is not officially set until April. High Plains Game Ranch has a "Preserve" status, therefore, our season starts September 1 each year an runs through the end of March. All Hunting is done in strict compliance with South Dakota State Game Regulations.
