In partnership with the Umatilla National Forest USFS, we operate under a Special Use Permit within the Wenaha Tucannon Wilderness. Let us take your family or group of friends on a pack trip where we do all the chores and you get a REAL vacation! If you love to hike, our mules can pack your camp so all you carry is your camera! Riding or hiking not your style? Then drive to our base camp and spend a night or two. You'll have a soft bed, hearty meals, time to meander the banks of the Tucannon River or experience excellent trout fishing in the nearby lakes. Dutch ovens and draft horses, we have them too! Gather up your friends and spend a lazy afternoon on a covered wagon ride. Come dinnertime you'll pull your steaks off the coals and discover what delights can come from a Dutch oven!
For the hunter, we offer hunting trips for spring and fall bear (spring by special permit), mule and whitetail deer and elk. Elk hunting for the general public is spike only. However, a few branch tags are offered by special drawing. We specialize in finding big mountain mule deer bucks! All meat packing is included. Gentle surefooted riding horses transport you to camp.
