But don't forget that we are surrounded by best fishing grounds in the Moosehead Lake Region and all are easily reached. Moosehead Lake is 40 miles wide and Moose River empties into about the middle of the lake. Remember, you can always fish in Moose River, regardless of wind conditions and you are still only a short distance from the center of Moosehead Lake.
