The Kennebec and Androscoggin River have unlimited opportunities for any level of fly fisher. You could be nymphing a deep run, stripping muddlers in heavy current, or try your hand at the ultimate fishing experience (big trout on dry flies). Depending on conditions, we can wade or fish from my customized river boat. You don't have to drive to Northern Maine to have good trout fishing. Central Maine has some excellent remote trout waters. Some of my favorite ponds have obstacles such as a very rough 2 mile long logging road for access, dragging a canoe for 200-400 yards into ponds that have been managed for big trout! All of these factors boil down to low fishing pressure and excellent fishing for anyone willing to go the extra mile.
