The Village Camps are located in some of Maine's best hunting grounds. Small game hunting opens in Maine in early October. Grouse, woodcock, and waterfowl are found here in abundance. Big game hunting opens with the moose season during mid-October, with deer hunting season beginning in late October and continuing through late November.
