Welcome to Western North Carolina’s premier fly shop and guide service. Located on the banks of the Davidson River in Brevard, North Carolina, we serve the resort towns of Lake Toxaway, Cashiers, and Highlands. We are also a very short drive from Asheville and Hendersonville, Charlotte and the Greenville Spartanburg SC area. Our shop is literally minutes from the best fishing WNC has to offer and is open from 8 am to 5 pm year round.
Guide Services
Our world renowned staff of 10 professional guides is anchored by Fly Fishing Master’s Champions Kevin Howell and Walker Parrott and WNC Fly Guide author J.E.B. Hall. Our guides specialize in wading for trophy mountain trout and drift boat fishing for trout and smallmouth bass. Our guides operate in Pisgah, and Nantahala National Forest; Dupont and Gorges State Parks and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We also have access to 6 miles of privately managed and limited access trout streams. Being a Clacka Craft pro shop, our guides offer float trips on the French Broad, Pigeon, Tuckaseegee, and Watauga Rivers.
