The most experienced professional fly fishing guide service in New Hampshire's Great North Woods proudly welcomes another season of guided fly fishing trips on the headwaters of the Connecticut and Androscoggin Rivers. With more than a quarter of century guiding experience on these waters to back them up, our guests are assured of the best fly fishing available. Whether your preference is casting a fly from aboard the 'Osprey', wading fishing, or some combination of the two, trips on either river promise to delight the fly fishermen of any age or expertise.
Fly hatches begin in late May and continue through the close of our season in mid October. Early season Hendricksons, stoneflys, and caddis open our fly fishing season with Baetis and other blue wing olive species closing at the other end. Mid summer abounds with large may flys and terrestials such as ants, beetles, and hoppers. If any of these sound tempting come join us aboard the Osprey for some excellent fly fishing away from the crowds and close to home.
Fly fishing New Hampshire's Great North Woods allows the angler to the opportunity to fly fish amongst spectacular scenery through spring, summer, and fall. Brook, rainbow, and brown trout along with the landlocked salmon assure the fly fisherman of good fishing throughout the season. Whether your prefererence is fishing dry flys, nymphs, or streamers the spectacular hatches in these clear cool New Hampshire waters promise to satisfy your wishes.
