Big game hunting in southwestern Colorado is a great experience. Both the majestic elk and trophy mule deer are legendary to the Cow Creek Outfitters hunting area. The Elk herd in this region is resident to the area and many of the animals from this region are listed in both Boone and Crockett and Pope and Young record books.
We offer a true wilderness hunting experience, an abundance of wildlife and fresh mountain air. We offer limited guided hunts and a back country (drop) camp for Elk, mule deer, bear and Rocky Mountain Big Horn. Hunters will travel to the high country via horseback and pack horse, spending the duration of their hunt in the heart of Elk, Mule Deer and Big Horn Sheep country. Our experienced staff will put forth their best effort to make your hunt a successful and enjoyable experience. Our camp accommodations include modern tents complete with wood stoves and army style sleeping cots.
