Both hunts are excellent, basically equal in quality, and the success ratios are very high.RANCH HUNTS are more expensive but have guaranteed tags, no drawings are necessary. When you book a ranch hunt you are scheduling your hunt for a specific time and ranch. We set aside a permit with your name on it, which guarantees you a license.These hunts are more expensive because of the private land access fees from the landowner. The advantage is that you can hunt five consecutive days betwen October 1st and December 31st. This makes it easy to find a time frame to fit your schedule.TROPHY LIMITED DRAW HUNTS are in high quality limited draw areas, so when you draw a tag, it's a good one with an excellent opportunity to take a trophy animal.Trophy limited draw hunts are a great value, for a high quality hunt. Since there is no landowner cost involved the hunts are usually about half the costs of a private land hunt.
To increase your odds of getting a trophy limited draw hunt, let us apply you to both Arizona and New Mexico for various species. Before you know it you'll be on a hunt of your lifetime.
Trophy limited draw hunts should always be applied for even if you have a ranch hunt booked. If we know the date that you want to hunt we will apply you for a draw hunt that occurs at the same time. If you draw, we will resale your private land permit to someone else and move your deposit to the draw hunt. Why not save some money and still get a quality hunt.'

Submit as many applications as possible. The biggest mistake a lot of people make is not applying enough applications to really have a good chance of getting drawn. Apply for as many as you can and also apply for any species that you plan on hunting in the future. Does it really matter if you take a trophy mule deer before an elk? When you draw any tag with us it will be a good one!
Hunting Packages
Hunts include: lodging, meals, guiding , preparation of heads, capes and skins for taxidermy. Meat processing and shipping also available upon request. Rental cars available at the Albuquerque, New Mexico and Phoenix, Arizona airports.
Trophy Elk Hunting in Arizona and New Mexico is the best in the Rockies. The quality of bulls will not be surpassed anywhere.
We hunt both public and and private lands starting in September with a very popular archery hunt. Our muzzleloading and rifle hunts start in October and run through the end of December. We specialize in Trophy Archery and Muzzleloader hunts. The bulls will be rutting at various stages from September 1st thru October 15th. You will be hunting at elevations from 6,000 to 10,000 feet.
Hunting Method
September and October include bugling, walking, glassing & some 4-Wheel transportation into the desired area. December hunts consist mainly , 4x4 transportation with glassing and stalking of your trophy.
Accommodations may consist of wall tents to lodge. In October you can expect weather conditions to be cool to cold with a possibility of rain or snow. In December, expect cold wintery conditions
