Bull Basin Guides and Outfitters was founded, and is owned and operated by Dean and Susan Billington, both Colorado natives. Over the years as a professional outfitter Dean has come to understand all the factors required to provide the type of quality trips that sportsman should expect. Through hard work and dedication the company has grown into one of the most respected outfits in the West, providing quality hunting and fishing trips for clients from all over the world.
Having hunted with his father since the age of 8, Dean has developed a love and respect for hunting and the outdoors that only a true sportsman can understand and appreciate. It is under this foundation and philosophy that Bull Basin Guides and Outfitters operates today.
Bull Basin Guides and Outfitters main goal is to provide our clients with a quality “total outdoor experience.” We feel that this includes much more than simply “harvesting” an animal. It includes a guide and his hunter sharing the enjoyment and anticipation of an uncrowded forest at daybreak, the endless tales that are shared among friends around the campfire, the aching muscles caused by following that big herd bull over one more ridge, and the feeling in good bye, at least until next year.
Bull Basin Guides and Outfitters takes great pride in the private ranches that we operate on, and make it a priority to maintain our relationships with the land owners. The company is bonded, insured, and is licensed (#1037) with the State of Colorado. Outfitting permits have been secured to legally operate on the Arapaho National Forest, and on B.L.M. lands in the Glenwood and Kremmling Resource Areas. Bull Basin Guides and Outfitters is a member in good standing of the following Organizations– The Colorado Outfitters Association, The National Rifle Association, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and The Mule Deer Foundation. We are also a member approved Outfitter/Guide for the North American Hunting Club.
