We offer excellent opportunities to hunt mule deer and/or elk on three prime Northwest Colorado private ranches! Our Colorado hunting ranches are managed to attract and hold deer and elk through maintenance of natural habitat (sage, scrub oak and juniper), availability of water and cultivated food sources, and the absence of livestock. As a result, our Colorado hunting ranches and the surrounding "landlocked" BLM land holds a good population of mule deer and elk, including trophy class animals.
A variety of still and blind hunting is available to match the physical needs and desires of each hunter. A limited number of weather-tight blinds have been positioned throughout the properties to aid in keeping you in the field and concealed in areas where game concentrate. However, plenty of good ground remains to be covered by the still hunter.We have a variety of accommodation options available. Lodging varies from primitive cabins with minimal furnishings, to rustic cabins with heat and electricity, to a modern dining/recreation lodge with complete meal services. RV camping is also available.We are located less than 10 miles outside of Meeker, which has several grocery, sporting goods and hardware stores that can accommodate most if not all of your last minute provisioning needs. Several options exist nearby for processing of game.Looking for more than just big game hunting? This area also supports a variety of other wildlife such as cougar, bobcat, coyote, badger, grouse and rabbits. Hunters will also see Golden Eagles and Vulcures soaring high in the Colorado blue sky and watching all of the activity below Some of our guests bring a shotgun or .22 and hunt for rabbits between filling their big game tags. You are welcome to do the same. A Colorado small game license is required. We also maintain a number of stocked trout ponds on the ranches!
