Amon and Barbara Molsee purchased the family business, Shattuck Creek Outfitters, from Andre and Arla Molsee on January 1, 2007. Amon was raised in the outfitting business and has worked full-time for the past 5 years. The friendly, positive atmosphere so enjoyed by 23 years of hunters will continue. Andre and Arla will continue to work in and be an important part of the business.
We study game concentration and movements all spring and summer. This gives us an edge in the field once the season begins. We are the exclusive outfitter for 1150 sq. miles of permitted USFS, State, BLM, and private land, all our hunts are fair chase. High altitude conditions are not a problem, we hunt from 1200 ft. to 6000 ft. elevation. Dark timber, regrowth, and beautiful meadows provide some of the best trophy big game habitat in north Idaho.
Our service includes; lodging, meals, guide service, USFS fees, all transportation once you arrive at the lodge, field care of meat, caping, and preparing your trophy for travel.
We deliver your meat to the local processor, if he is not available we will bone and freeze game for transportation. It is the hunters responsibility to pay for meat processing, license and tag fees, transportation to the lodge, gratuities and a 5% state sales tax on the hunt cost.
License & Tag guaranteed if you hunt with us. Bring your junior hunter (12-17 years) license, elk tag and deer tag only $34.50, what a great opportunity to enjoy a western hunt with your son or daughter.
All guides are licensed, have current first-aid and CPR certifications and 3 to 23 years experience. We cannot control the weather or guarantee you will harvest game, however we do control the service we provide on your hunt. Over 60% of our clients return because of our work ethic, positive attitude, and safe enjoyable environment we create.
